Job summary

Deerfield Village is seeking caring caregivers to support residents in our Oregon communities. You will establish meaningful relationships, support daily living activities, and implement care plans that honor each resident's preferences and routines.

Roles include Full-Time Friday-Monday NOC, Swing Shift with Part-Time options, and On-Call opportunities. Competitive wages ($19.00–$21.00/hour) and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Caregiver or Med Tech experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Assist residents in daily activities and life skills.
• Implement care plans, focusing on preferences and routines.
• Incorporate multi-sensory experiences into daily activities.
• Collaborate with wellness team to address resident needs promptly.
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.

Simply put, as a Caregiver you will:

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
• Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their profile
• Implement residents’ care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day
• Work with the wellness team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
