Tridgeview Commons in Midland, MI is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team on 2nd shift. The caregiver will provide personal hygiene support, assist with medications, mobility, meals, and daily activities for residents in a assisted living setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care with flexibility to work nights and weekends. Prior experience in healthcare or home care is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Formación

• Experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

• Able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, home care, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for the elderly or post-surgical clients.
• Assist with medications and ambulation as prescribed.
• Support mobility for doctor appointments and activities outside the home.
• Plan and prepare meals for residents and assist with daily living.
• Assist with light housekeeping and daily tasks as needed.
• Report incidents promptly and respond to emergencies.

Tridgeview Commons, Midlands premiere assisted living community is looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team on 2nd shift! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
