HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in providing one-on-one, in-home care for seniors who wish to age in place. You will work with clients on daily living activities, build meaningful relationships, and deliver empathetic, high-quality care.

No healthcare certification is required, but experience with geriatric care and dementia is a plus. We offer flexible schedules, paid mileage between shifts, and opportunities for advancement.

Formación

• No healthcare certification required; CNA/HHA or similar preferred.
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Must have email/internet access and a mobile phone.
• TB test proof as required by state.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Compassionate, mature, punctual and reliable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide social companionship and engage clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks: feeding, grooming, bathing, dressing, hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.
• Transport to appointments and social activities.
• Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety support.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
