Job summary

Senior Helpers of Cerritos is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Drivers preferred to assist with transportation to appointments and errands.

As a Caregiver, you’ll join a supportive team, receive flexible scheduling, and earn competitive pay. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and meaningful daily interactions with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Completion of California-required Home Care Aide Registration and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to orientation.
• Current negative TB test.
• At least 1 year of experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living to maintain safety, comfort and independence at home.
• Provide compassionate in-home care and personal support as part of a dedicated team.
• Help with transportation to appointments and errands when needed.

Requirements

• Complete the California-required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to orientation.


• Provide a current negative TB test.


• Have at least 1 year of experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes.




• Experience may include caring for a family member, working in a care facility, or providing in-home care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle strongly preferred.


• Many of our clients require transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
