Job summary

Senior Helpers of Cerritos is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Cerritos and surrounding areas, including Whittier. As a caregiver you will build meaningful connections, work in a supportive environment, and make a real difference daily.

Requirements include HCA registration with Livescan, a negative TB test, and at least 1 year of personal care experience. A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred for client transportation.

Qualifications

• Must complete State required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Livescan fingerprinting.
• Provide current negative TB test.
• Must have at least 1 year experience assisting adults with personal care.
• This can include assisting family members, working in facilities, or in-home care.

Requirements:

• Must complete State required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Livescan fingerprinting before orientation
• Provide current negative TB test
• Must have at least 1 year experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes
• This can include assisting family members, working in facilities, or in-home care

Preferred Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are strongly preferred, as many clients require transportation to appointments and errands.
