Job summary

Senior Helpers of Cerritos is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home across Cerritos, Artesia, Buena Park, La Palma, La Mirada, Whittier and nearby communities. Requirements include the California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Live Scan fingerprinting before orientation, a current negative TB test, and at least 1 year of experience providing personal care.

Requirements

• Complete the California-required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to orientation.


• Provide a current negative TB test.


• Have at least 1 year of experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes.


• Experience may include caring for a family member, working in a care facility, or providing in-home care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle strongly preferred.


• Many of our clients require transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
