Job summary

Senior Helpers of Cerritos is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team. Weekend availability is preferred to support seniors living at home, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their familiar surroundings.

You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship; complete California HCA registration and Live Scan prior to orientation; TB test; and have at least one year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Complete the California-required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to orientation.
• Provide a current negative TB test.
• Have at least 1 year of experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes.
• Experience may include caring for a family member, working in a care facility, or providing in-home care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in safe and independent living at home.
• Provide compassionate personal care and support with daily activities.
• Help with mobility and safety in the home.

Requirements
