Job summary

Senior Helpers Cerritos is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe and independent. You will engage in conversations, assist with daily living tasks, and tailor activities to each client’s interests.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping others, have at least 1 year of personal care experience, and can obtain HCA Registration and Livescan. We offer competitive pay, sick time, a 401(k), and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
• Report activities completed and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity and behavior.

Requirements:

• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
• You have the ability to complete State required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Livescan fingerprinting before orientation
• You can provide a current negative TB test
• You must have at least 1 year experience assisting adults with personal care, including diaper changes
  • This can include assisting family members, working in facilities, or in-home care
