Job summary

The Homestead at Anoka Home Health in Minnesota is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/HHA to assist residents with daily living activities, administer medications as directed, and document observations for the nursing team.

Responsibilities include aiding with ambulation and transfers, ensuring resident comfort, and reporting concerns per policy. This part-time, on-site role offers opportunities for training and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Be eighteen (18)+ years of age.

The Homestead at Anoka is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Compensation: $20.69/hr- $22.81/hr (based on years of experience)

Shifts: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (Every other weekend) *60 hours per pay period (.8) AM 11:00 PM-7:00AM (Every other weekend) *15hours per pay period (.2) NOC

Required Qualifications:

• Have demonstrated dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
• Customer service oriented.
• Possesses coordination and dexterity required to provide resident care skillfully.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or Memory Care.
• CPR Certification
