Village Caregiving in Lexington, KY is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to cover a variety of shifts with flexible scheduling options available. You will provide essential in-home care, assist with daily activities, and help clients maintain independence with dignity.

We offer paid training including CPR, competitive pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, flexible hours, and supplemental insurance options. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and respect
• Support clients in completing recommended exercises to promote health
• Accompany clients on shopping trips or run errands on their behalf when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, that clients are unable to manage themselves
• Report any unusual occurrences or concerns promptly to office staff and family members
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
• Accurately document days and hours worked on agency care sheets

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive paid training, including CPR, is provided
• Commitment to following health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping duties and meal preparation, with attention to dietary restrictions
• A respectful and compassionate attitude, with excellent bedside manner
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform required tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Reliable transportation is essential
