Job summary

WoodCreek Bend Memory Care in Katy, TX is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and ensure their safety and comfort. This role emphasizes dignity, independence, and active engagement with residents who may have dementia.

You will participate in a structured training program, start with a flexible schedule, and join a supportive team dedicated to resident well-being and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year of experience required in assisted living or skilled nursing (required).
• Three consecutive days of training plus Educare training prior to working any scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Ensure residents' safety and comfort while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor residents for changes in physical or cognitive condition, document care provided, and communicate effectively with nurses, family members, and other team members.
• Offer specialized support for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, using patience and understanding to engage residents in activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

What You'll Do:
