Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
• Administer medications per prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Provide companionship and social engagement to reduce isolation.
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping duties.
• Document care activities in EMR and communicate with healthcare teams.
• Assist residents during outings or appointments by driving or helping with transportation arrangements.

• Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Support residents during outings or appointments by driving or assisting with transportation arrangements when qualified

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques
• Ability to perform CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable
• Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
