Interim HealthCare in Hendersonville, TN is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide compassionate home-based care, support independence, and help clients stay safe and comfortable at home.

You will offer personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities, while reporting observations to supervisors. The role emphasizes a respectful, patient approach and strong communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one month of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• A caring, dependable attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance with everyday needs.
• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and other daily activities.
• Assisting clients with walking, transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
• Providing medication reminders and reporting important observations or concerns to your supervisor.
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Providing companionship through conversation, games, reading, puzzles, hobbies, and other activities.
• Encouraging clients to remain socially engaged and involved in the activities they enjoy.
• Treating every client with patience, dignity, kindness, and respect.
