HomeWell Care Services IN219 in Hammond, IN seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care so seniors can age in place. You will work one-on-one with clients, offering companionship and assistance with daily living activities in clients' homes.

Formación

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA preferred.
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Daily access to email/internet and a mobile phone.

Responsabilidades

• Social companionship and personal interaction with clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
