Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home setting in Gibsonia, PA. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, meals, bathing, and transportation to appointments.

Shifts are available daytime 7 am–3 pm or 7 am–11 pm with full-time hours and paid training; part-time options exist. No experience is necessary and prior home health experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for adults with disabilities.
• Help with dressing, meals, bathing and personal care tasks.
• Provide transportation to doctor appointments and accompany clients on community outings.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Gibsonia, PA.

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Daytime 7 am to 3 pm OR 7 am to 11 pm.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
