Lifesteps, a local human service agency in Gibsonia, PA, is hiring Direct Care Aides to assist adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. You will help with daily living activities, meals, grooming, and transportation to appointments, providing compassionate support.

No experience is required and paid training is provided. Lifesteps offers steady full-time hours with overnight shifts (9 pm–9 am) or 3 pm–7 am, plus part-time options and flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
• ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, meals)
• Provide transportation to doctor appointments

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers)

Assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnight Shifts 9 pm to 9 am OR 3 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
