Job summary

Lifesteps is hiring compassionate Direct Care Aides to work in a residential home in Beaver Falls, PA. You will support adults with disabilities with daily living activities, meals, grooming, and transportation to appointments.

No experience is necessary; paid training is provided. Full-time hours are available with evenings 3 pm to 11 pm or overnight 11 pm to 7 am, and part-time shifts as well.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities in daily living activities (dressing, meal preparation, bathing, transport to appointments)
• Provide direct care and supervision in a residential home setting
• Support residents with meals, grooming, and personal care
• Assist with activities of daily living and home tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers)

Assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours!

Available Shifts are: Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm OR Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available

Great for additional income or a second job.
