Job summary

Right at Home is seeking in-home caregivers, CNAs, STNAs and HHAs to support seniors in Columbus and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support mobility and medication reminders in clients' homes.

We offer flexible full-time/part-time shifts, weekly pay, paid training, PTO, and a supportive leadership team focused on your success.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or certification preferred (CNA/STNA/HHA).
• Ability to pass background check (BCI/FBI).

Caregiver Responsibilities

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you will assist seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility/transfers.

• Companionship & Engagement: Engaging in meaningful activities like reading, puzzles, and conversation.

• Homemaking: Light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, dishes, laundry, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms).

• Meal Preparation: Preparing healthy meals and snacks according to client instructions.

• Errands & Transportation: Accompanying clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or local errands.

• Specialized Care Support: Medication reminders, prescribed range‑of‑motion exercises, and dementia/Alzheimer’s care support.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred).

• CNA, STNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant certification preferred (or relevant family/professional caregiving experience).

• Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (BCI/FBI).

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.

• Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking English).
