Job summary

Right At Home – Washington Court House, OH is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. Start at $15.00 per hour, with experience-based pay.

You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and monitor changes in condition while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules, paid training, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations and care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
