Job summary

Senior Helpers Dayton is seeking a compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping others and making a difference in clients' lives. You will be the direct contact for clients, providing personal care, companionship, and support to help clients stay independent at home.

We offer flexible scheduling, professional growth opportunities, and a Great Place to Work culture. Earn up to $16 per hour with premium shifts that pay more during weekdays nights and weekend days/nights.

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

• We offer competitive compensation of up to $16 per hour.
• Our premium shifts pay more: $1 extra on weekday nights (6 pm to 6 am), $1.50 on weekend days (6 am to 6 pm), and $2 on weekend nights (6 pm to 6 am).
