Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. in Connecticut is hiring caregivers for non-medical home care across multiple service areas. The role includes following each client's Plan of Care, transporting to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship.

We offer flexible schedules (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, benefits, and referral bonuses. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
