Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. in Connecticut is hiring multiple caregiver positions across the state. You will provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling (weekday, weekend, overnights and live-in), competitive pay, direct deposit, PTO, holidays, medical/dental and 401(k), plus referral bonuses and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (HHA/CNA/PCA)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care per client care plans
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, groceries
• Assistance with dressing, bathing, mobility
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Document care and reminders as directed

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
