Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver at The Rivers at Maryland Farms in Brentwood, TN. You will follow care plans, monitor residents, document shifts, assist with ADLs, and provide restorative nursing support.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CNA preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification if required. A 50-pound lift capability and physical stamina are required along with a supportive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Training Program (if required).
• CNA certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (if required).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with resident transfers using proper equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized plans of care (ISP) for each resident.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the nursing supervisor.
• Document daily care and changes, especially during overnight rounds.
• Check and record vital signs, weights, and other duties per state regulations and policies.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, toileting, and oral care.
• Provide restorative nursing support including positioning, ADL training, and ROM.
• Offer cues, redirection, and emotional support to residents as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and programs.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment.
• Respond to call lights and urgent needs promptly.
• Provide transportation within the community and accompany residents to appointments.
• Support activities and other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

Why You Are Qualified:
