Job summary

Eckerd Connects in the Laredo Job Corps Center seeks a Career Technical Training (CTT) Supervisor to plan, direct, and supervise the department operations.

You will ensure Job Corps approved curricula are taught, supervise procurement of instructional materials, and oversee classroom methods and student progress records. The role requires leadership, policy compliance, and collaboration with the Education and Training Director and center staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in work-related field preferred.
• Three years' experience including at least one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the operation of the Career Technical Training department.
• Ensure Job Corps approved curricula is taught; supervise procurement and use of supplemental materials.
• Project and plan instructional needs; ensure proper teaching methods are employed.
• Prepare and submit required reports; maintain records of students' progress and attendance.
• Formulate proposals and recommend changes to the Education and Training Director on policies and procedures.
