Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Kittrell, NC is seeking a Career Technical Training Manager to lead the CTT department within the Job Corps program. You will plan, direct, and supervise curricula, materials, and instructional needs in classrooms across the site.

The role requires ensuring approved curricula are taught, managing resources, tracking student progress, and submitting required reports. You will work with the Education and Training Director on policy updates and program improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in work-related field preferred.
• Three years' experience with one year in supervision preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the Career Technical Training department.
• Ensures Job Corps approved curricula are taught in classrooms; supervises materials procurement.
• Plans instructional needs and maintains proper teaching methods.
• Prepares reports and maintains records of student progress and attendance.
• Proposes changes to policies to the Education and Training Director.

Annual Salary: $57,105

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Career Technical Training (CTT) Manager plans, directs, and supervises the operation of the Career Technical Training department.
• The Career Technical Training (CTT) Manager ensures Job Corps approved curricula is being taught in individual classrooms. Supervises procurement and use of supplemental materials, including multi-media equipment and materials.
• Projects and plans for instructional needs. Ensures proper teaching methods are employed for subject areas being taught.
• Prepares and submits required reports. Ensures proper records on students' progress, performance, etc. are maintained by the instructors and proper record of students' attendance is maintained by the Career Technical Training Department.
• Formulates proposals and makes recommendations to the Education and Training Director on all changes in policies and procedures pertaining to the Career Technical Training Department.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in work-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Three years' experience to include one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
