Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Career Technical Training Manager for Job Corps in Washington, DC. The role is salaried and exempt, reporting to the Education and Training Director, overseeing the Career Technical Training department and ensuring curricula are taught effectively with proper materials and records.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ experience, including supervisory work; a driving license is preferred, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in work-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Three years’ experience to include one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the operation of the Career Technical Training department.
• Ensures Job Corps approved curricula is taught in classrooms; supervises procurement and use of materials and multimedia equipment.
• Prepares and submits required reports; maintains records on students’ progress and attendance.
• Forms proposals and makes recommendations to the Education and Training Director on policy changes.
