City: West Lafayette

Job Summary

The Career Services Technology and Systems Coordinator is a detail oriented and collaborative professional who supports the operational, technological, and data driven functions of the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO). This role serves as a program coordinator for Purdue’s centralized career services management system, The Purdue Career Gateway. The position supports and coordinates system operations, workflow optimization, and stakeholder utilization across academic units using the platform for co-op programs, internships, part-time positions, full-time roles, and other work-based learning opportunities. The coordinator partners closely with campus stakeholders, Career Services staff, employers, and students to improve user experience, troubleshoot issues, and maintain effective service delivery.

This role also plays a key part in collecting the university-wide supplemental exit survey data that complements the First Destination Survey (FDS), ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality data collection across all Purdue academic areas. Working under general supervision, the role independently works on moderately complex projects, recommends improvements to systems and processes, and provides guidance to student workers or entry level staff. The coordinator quickly adapts to evolving needs, supports technology enhanced solutions, and contributes to the CCO’s mission of supporting student career success through accurate data, strategic technology use, and responsive support services.

Additionally, this role provides support to the Employer Engagement team during peak recruitment periods. The coordinator assists with employer event management, including scheduling, logistics, and day of execution for fairs, information sessions, and on-campus recruiting activities. The role communicates directly with employers to ensure a smooth and professional experience and provides operational support as needed to facilitate high-volume recruitment seasons. This flexible support helps maintain service quality and responsiveness during critical hiring cycles.
