Job summary

AIM is seeking a Career Success Coordinator to help students transition from enrollment to graduation and into meaningful employment at their Duluth, GA campus. You will drive certification completion, career readiness and placement preparation across the student lifecycle.

You will engage students early, build strong relationships, and support them through certification and job placement processes while collaborating with employer partners and campus teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred as noted.
• 1–2 years in student services, career services, advising or related support roles valued.
• Experience in proprietary post-secondary education settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a student caseload and meet defined performance metrics.
• Support certification readiness, graduation progression and placement preparation.
• Build strong relationships with students and employers to facilitate career readiness.
• Coordinate with education teams and student success coordinators on certification outcomes.
• Document interactions and outcomes; assist with workshops and career fairs.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 9-6 with a possible late night from 10-7
• Friday-8-5

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $24-26 per hour, with most candidates expected to fall near the midpoint of the range based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Career Success Coordinator helps students successfully transition from enrollment to graduation and into meaningful employment. This position supports students throughout the full student lifecycle by proactively driving certification completion, career readiness, and placement preparation.

As a Career Success Coordinator, you will engage students early to build strong and consistent relationships, supporting them through certification and placement.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & Accountability

• Actively manage a student caseload and meet defined performance metrics, which mayinclude:
  • Retention and persistence
  • Certification readiness and attainment
  • Graduation progression
  • Career readiness and placement-related leading indicators
  • Contribute to a performance-driven culture focused on measurable student outcomes

Student Engagement & Advocacy

• Serve as a consistent point of contact and career readiness advocate for assigned students, building trust, rapport, and accountability
• Proactively identify and address barriers to certification readiness and job placement

Certification Support

• Partner withtheeducationteamand studentsuccesscoordinators tomonitorcertification readiness anddrive certification outcomes

Career Readiness & Placement Preparation

• Introduce career readiness concepts early in the student journey, including resume development, professional behavior, and labor market awareness
• Support students and graduates with career planning, job search strategies, and interview preparation
• Coordinate with employer engagement and career services partners to prepare students for successful entry into the placement window
• Assist with job applications, documentation, and placement-related follow-up as assigned

Data, Documentation & Compliance

• Accurately documentallstudent interactions,engagementactivities,outcomes, and supporting materials
• Participate in cohort tracking, G&E chart confirmation, and required audits, including weekly and monthly reporting tied to student success metrics
• Support,participateinand/orfacilitateworkshops, application stations,commencement,alumni events, career fairs, and certification readiness activities

Other Duties

• Performadditionalresponsibilities as assigned by thesupervisor, including onboarding and ongoing training related to student success systems, performance metrics, and operational processes

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in student services, career services, advising, workforce development, recruiting, or a related support role
• 1 year of related experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred

Skills

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills with a student-centered approach
• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with shared accountability
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems
• A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work outside regular business hours and travel locally or overnight as needed
