Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in job development with diverse populations, including hard-to-serve populations
• 3+ years’ experience managing a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of quality
• Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of the New York City area job market and economic trends preferred
• Strong organizational, leadership and communications skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, data management software)

Responsibilities

• Manages strategies for job-seeker development to meet business needs
• Assures compliance with placement regulations related to career services
• Monitors department performance and ensures team is properly trained
• Develops, motivates and provides exceptional leadership for career services team
• Strategizes, develops and maintains quality Career Services program to achieve goals
• Works cooperatively with business services and training to service customer needs
• Performs other duties as assigned
