Job summary

University of North Texas in Frisco seeks an Associate Director of Career Services to lead internship preparation and employer engagement across disciplines. You will coach students one-on-one, run group workshops, and teach internship courses for multi-disciplinary programs on the Frisco campus.

You will supervise two Career and Employer Development Specialists and partner with academic advisors to integrate career readiness into curricula.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Masters degree in Higher Education/Student Development/Counseling+5 or more years of student development experiences or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Individual student coaching for internship preparation and group workshops.
Employer engagement to understand workforce needs and provide feedback for program development.
Faculty partnerships to connect internship course design with employer speakers.
Strategy, planning and assessment to inform reports for program directors and leadership.
Internship course instruction with engaged course design and reflective learning.
Recruitment events and guidance for prospective students and families.
Collaborate with academic advisors to integrate career readiness into student support.
