University of North Texas System Frisco is seeking an Associate Director of Career Services to prepare students for internships and engage with local employers. This role coaches individuals, leads group workshops, and oversees internship-related courses for multiple programs at the Frisco campus.

The position also supervises two Career and Employer Development Specialists, partnering with faculty and industry to boost student preparedness and employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of career advising and development; familiarity with university operations.

Responsabilités

• Individual student coaching for internship preparation.
• Group workshops such as mock-interviews and networking events.
• Instruct internship courses for multi-disciplinary programs at UNT Frisco.
• Supervise two Career & Employer Development Specialists.
• Engage with area employers to align workforce needs with curricula.
• Collaborate with academic advisors to integrate career readiness across programs.
