Job summary

Central State University is seeking a Career Connections Coordinator to administer and monitor Federal Work-Study programs within Banner ERP, ensuring accurate coding, labor distribution, and EPAF processing. The role includes training supervisors and students on eligibility, awards, compliance, and audit-ready documentation.

You will analyze data to forecast utilization, reconcile payroll, and develop dashboards to support institutional reporting and planning, while tracking student earnings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years in career services or student employment सुन
• Experience with Banner ERP and Handshake preferred
• Knowledge of FERPA, EEO and federal student employment regulations
• Ability to analyze dashboards and reports to improve outcomes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience designing and leading workshops or training sessions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data collection/analysis

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Federal Work-Study (FWS) student employment processes in Banner ERP.
• Provide training and guidance on eligibility, awards, compliance, and audit documentation.
• Analyze Banner data and allocate reports to forecast utilization and prevent over-awards.
• Maintain real-time tracking of student earnings per federal regulations.
• Coordinate programming and training for student employment practices.
• Develop and track data on student employment, employer engagement, and outcomes.
• Maintain digital tracking of job placement and First Destination Survey data.
• Train students on resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation.
• Contribute to dashboards and institutional planning through trends analysis.
• Create timelines for engagement aligned with employment cycles.
• Conduct career seminars and information sessions as needed.
• Communicate professionally with faculty, staff, employers, and Trustees.
