Job summary

American Career College seeks a Career Services Specialist to guide diploma and associate degree students and graduates through the job search journey. You will teach workshops, critique resumes, and coordinate job fairs with healthcare employers, supporting students from campus to meaningful employment.

You will help graduates secure entry-level healthcare opportunities and provide outstanding customer service to current and graduating students in line with the college’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prior experience in a higher education setting such as career services, advising preferably in healthcare or healthcare recruitment background.
• Associate degree in one of the following or related field preferred: Education Administration, Business Management, Student Personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with resume development, interviewing skills, proper demeanor, attire, and other related areas to support employment in field of study.
• Conduct employment workshops on topics like resume writing, finding a job/internship, networking, interview preparation, and performance.
• Conduct mock interviews for students.
• Coordinate Career Job Fairs with employer representatives.
