Present and facilitate Career Services Workshops including one on one career mentoring using the Gurnick Edge online Platform for Students, graduates and AlumniTo aid in the process to place students through building relationships with potential employers and continually looking for applicable job opportunities on job advertising websites and company websites.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide job search assistance for graduates and graduating studentsOrganize and conduct Mock Interviews, Resume Preparation and workshops to prepare students to interface and communicate professionallyOrganize and conduct Job Search workshops addressing issues of professional behavior, body language and how to dress appropriately for interviewsProvide job leads and referrals to the graduatesParticipate and organize Alumni events for the campus with the goal of getting potential placement referrals and understanding the employment market for the regionMaintain placement statistics and data for all programs at GurnickOrganize regular Job Fairs with prospective employers to facilitate employmentProvide strong communication and follow-up skills with potential employersParticipate and play an active role in the Graduates EvaluationsEstablish and maintain relationships with representatives of the agencies in which students are placedInvite the representatives from placement agencies for workshops and seminarsMaintain a variety of placement sites for current and graduate studentsRequirementsAssociates Degree, Preferably Bachelor's Degree or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceIntermediate level knowledge of google docs and sheetsOrganizational knowledge of educational institutionsOutside Sales experiencePreferred management work experience in a school environment and recruiting environmentGurnick Academy of Medical Arts is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other characteristics protected by any applicable law.
