Job summary

Ancora Education's Miller-Motte College in Raleigh, NC seeks a Career Services Coach to provide ongoing career development to students, graduates and alumni through classroom sessions, workshops and one-on-one coaching.

The Career Services Coach will work with the Director of Career Services and staff to track progress and deliver mock interviews, resume support and job-search guidance while maintaining CampusVue documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field.
• 1 year work experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, counseling or business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound communication with graduates and team.
• Provide guidance to students and graduates and maintain professional standards.
• Coordinate resume preparation, interview techniques, job search and development sessions.
• Collect graduate employment qualifications to determine employment assistance path.
• Provide availability and opportunities to conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with students and graduates.
• Assist proactive job search by providing job leads, resources and online application help.
• Conduct community and employer outreach to identify viable employment opportunities.
• Document and ensure CampusVue records for all communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of school and student information.
• Participate in ongoing student engagement activities.
• Assist with externship responsibilities when required.
• Participate in school events as required.
• Master proficiency with MS Office.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
