Job summary

North Carolina State University in Raleigh is seeking a Career Counselor to provide individualized and group career counseling to CHASS and Exploratory Studies students. The role includes facilitating workshops, guiding students in using the ePACK system, and supporting campus-wide career initiatives.

You will supervise graduate student workers and help manage daily center operations while partnering with faculty and employer partners to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, career counseling or related field by hire date.
• Ability to collaborate with students, faculty and employers to support career goals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career counseling to CHASS and Exploratory Studies students.
• Facilitate workshops on resume reviews, interviews, networking and job search strategies.
• Guide students in using ePACK and university resources for professional growth.
• Supervise graduate student workers and support daily center operations.
• Coordinate the annual CHASS Career Fair and related events.
