Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a Career Services Coach to provide ongoing career development and employability coaching to students, graduates, and alumni through classroom presentations, workshops, and one-on-one sessions. You will work with the Director of Career Services and other staff to assess progress and deliver job search guidance.

You will schedule mock interviews, provide resume writing assistance, track graduate employment criteria, and ensure CampusVue documentation is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field required.
• 1 year work experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, counseling or business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound connect activity to ensure ongoing communication between graduates and the team.
• Provide guidance to students and graduates and maintain professional standards.
• Coordinate resume preparation, interview techniques, job search/research, and other professional development sessions.
• Collect graduate employment qualifications and criteria to determine the employment path required.
• Provide availability and opportunities to conduct One-on-One coaching sessions with students and graduates.
• Assist in proactive job search efforts by providing job leads, resources and online applications to generate opportunities.
• Conduct community and employer outreach to identify viable employment opportunities for students and graduates.
• Maintain accurate CampusVue documentation and data entry of all information.
• Maintain confidentiality with school information and regulatory data.
