Job summary

MTC operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, where our staff provide quality services to local youth. This role supervises accounting activities including budgets, reports, and student pay to ensure compliance with government directives.

You will plan and coordinate administrative and financial activities, train staff, monitor budgets, and audit contracted funds. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with two years’ experience is required, along with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and two years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and financial activities of the department.
• Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, implement departmental and personnel changes as approved by the center director and coordinated with HR.
• Review and audit all assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students; prepare related reports.
