Job summary

University of New England is seeking a Career Programming and Engagement Coordinator to lead career programming, marketing, and the UNE CareerConnect platform powered by PeopleGrove. The role drives student engagement through strategic communications, social media, and events, collaborating with the Office of Career Readiness and Workforce Development.

The position emphasizes developing engaging content, building employer partnerships, and increasing visibility of career readiness opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (communications, marketing, higher education admin, business, public relations, student affairs).
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, coordinating multiple priorities, timelines and events with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with students, faculty, staff, alumni, employer partners, and external stakeholders.
• Experience creating and managing digital communications, including social media platforms, website content, email marketing, and promotional materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for career programming and employer partnerships.
• Manage the Office's digital presence: social media, website, newsletters, signage, and promotional materials.
• Create multimedia content that showcases career readiness programs and student success stories.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns across multiple channels while adhering to UNE brand standards.
• Maintain an annual communications calendar and analyze engagement metrics for improvement.
• Plan and execute career fairs, networking events, workshops, panels, and other student engagement programs.
