Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking a Job Preparation and Placement Coordinator to prepare clients to apply for unsubsidized employment. Working with the Job Developers and Employer Strategy Teams, you will match qualified job seekers with opportunities and drive successful placements.

You will lead coaching for job search, coordinate with employers, and design recruitment strategies and outreach activities to maintain strong partnerships and effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education or related field required.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in counseling, coaching, staffing, or workforce development.
• Experience working with at-risk clients with barriers to employment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for employers identified by the Job Developer and the Strategic Sector Leads.
• Identify and prepare appropriate clients for interview for specific job vacancies.
• Ensure that all job orders are filled in a timely manner.
• Provide intensive individual coaching to clients in job search.
• Match a minimum of 20 participants per month into unsubsidized job placements with at least 20 hours per week and minimum wage.
