Job summary

Human Learning Systems LLC in Grand Forks, ND seeks an Outreach and Admissions Counselor to lead outreach and admissions efforts for the Job Corps program. The role requires educating partners, recruiting eligible youth, and coordinating with the Outreach and Admissions Manager to ensure enrollment targets are met.

The successful candidate will handle evening/weekend outreach, maintain applicant records, and promote Job Corps services while complying with DOL and PRH requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with two years related experience.
• Experience in outreach and admissions preferred; Job Corps experience desired.
• CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Educates and promotes Job Corps admissions through outreach activities and partnerships.
• Cultivates community and employer partnerships to support referrals and enrollment.
• Maintain required documentation and eligibility determinations in the assigned area.
• Travel as needed and conduct campus tours or community outreach events.
• Ensure compliance with Job Corps policies, PRH, and program guidelines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field

Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field with two years related experience
