Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center is seeking an Admissions Counselor to manage outreach and admissions for youth entering the Job Corps program. You will screen applicants, conduct information sessions, and maintain relationships with agencies and schools to meet monthly enrollment goals.

Based in Hazard, KY, this role requires travel, evening hours, and a focus on developing employability plans for participants.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an Associate’s with experience in counseling or youth development.
• Experience in performance-based environments, sales, marketing, or counseling preferred.
• Ability to travel, evening hours, and periodic weekends as required.

Aufgaben

• Develops monthly outreach plans to recruit suitable applicants.
• Conducts information sessions on Job Corps for youths and agencies.
• Screens applicants for enrollment per handbook policies and procedures.
• Travels within territory for outreach, applications, and home visits.
• Maintains outreach to agencies, schools, and military recruiters.
• Schedules appointments with agencies serving youth.
• Notifies youth of acceptance and maintains follow-up with applicants.
