Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Career and Resource Navigator to guide clients toward career development, education, and community services, helping them move toward stable employment and personal growth.

You will conduct one-on-one assessments, create individualized action plans, connect clients with training, job opportunities, and social services, and maintain detailed documentation to measure progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in career counseling, workforce development, social services, or related area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse populations.
• Ability to manage multiple client cases and maintain detailed documentation.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and client management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one assessments with clients to identify career goals, skills, and resource needs.
• Develop individualized career plans and provide ongoing coaching to support client progress.
• Connect clients with educational programs, job training, employment opportunities, and social services.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes using designated data management systems.
• Collaborate with community partners, employers, and service providers to expand resource networks and opportunities.
• Stay informed about local labor market trends, funding opportunities, and relevant policies affecting clients.
• Facilitate workshops and group sessions on job readiness, resume building, interview skills, and other career development topics.
