Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with emphasis on human services, social services, or workforce development preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in business or human services with strong customer service; more with additional college.
• CDF certification or willingness to obtain; valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and develops training opportunities for disadvantaged and/or displaced residents.
• Provides career guidance support to customers during involvement in program phases.
• Monitors progress from enrollment through job search, training, and retention; devises strategies to meet customers' needs; makes referrals to community partners.
