Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in human services, job training, or job placement is preferred.
• Strong counseling and motivational skills to help clients overcome barriers.

Responsibilities

• Assist public assistance recipients in finding employment.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise work search activities and ensure program compliance.
• Deliver job readiness and training workshops on resume writing, job search, interviewing, and dress for success.
• Develop career plans and identify barriers to employment.
• Accompany job seekers on employer visits and mentor them through each step to secure employment.
• Develop job openings with area employers and provide retention services.
• Assist with contract development for subsidized and training programs.
• Maintain participant records, data entry, vouchering, and related support.
• Collaborate with Career Center staff and participate in weekly case conferences.
• Assist with job fairs and recruitment events.
