Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Experience: One year of experience working with students/client advocacy with a focus on education and/or personal growth.
• Preferred knowledge and skills include program development, tracking student progress, knowledge of higher education resources, working with low-income, first-generation populations, and strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise students individually and in groups to support academic retention and completion.
• Coordinate referrals to campus resources and services across departments to support student success.
• Travel between the two SUNY Orange campuses and other sites as needed; work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
