Job summary

AmeriCorps State / National is seeking a Part-Time Member Workforce Specialist in the Miami area to support individuals pursuing employment through one-on-one coaching and career planning. You will deliver job readiness workshops and provide ongoing coaching to help participants graduate into employment or advancement.

You will document services, track progress, and work with mentors and program staff to ensure successful outcomes and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth development or community programs is beneficial.
• Ability to coach individuals in job readiness and career planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support for employment and career advancement.
• Deliver job readiness workshops on resume writing, interview prep, and professionalism.
• Offer ongoing coaching, motivation, and progress tracking to participants.
• Document services and outcomes to assist graduates with employment or advancement.
