Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a College and Career Readiness Advisor to help Excel Center students plan postsecondary paths aligned with high-demand careers. You will provide direct advising, coordinate dual‑credit opportunities, and build strong ties with local colleges and employers to expand experiential learning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 3 years in education or career services, with solid Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in secondary or higher education, or career counseling/workforce development.
• Knowledge of career/vocational theories and program development.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass background checks and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of career pathways and industry-driven programs.
• Collaborate with colleges, employers, and community partners.
• Advise students on college admissions, financial aid, and career plans.
• Coordinate dual-credit and noncredit course opportunities.
• Create marketing and recruitment strategies for career pathways.
• Track outcomes and report on credential attainment and placement.
