Job summary

Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation seeks a Senior Career Pathways Coach to support ASU Prep Phoenix and ASU Prep South Phoenix. You will partner with educators, school leaders, and employers to expand access to career pathways, credentials, and work-based learning opportunities.

This role requires relationship-building, project management, and excellent communication to promote internships, job shadows, and early postsecondary credit.

Qualifications

• Two years in partnership management, community relations, or customer relations.
• At least one year working with youth or in an educational setting.
• Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with work-based, project-based, or experiential learning preferred.
• Able to travel regularly to schools and partner sites and pass required checks.

Responsibilities

• Connect ASU Prep leaders and ElevateEdAZ staff to evaluate and advance career and technical learning pathways.
• Align with regional high-skill, high-demand, high-wage careers.
• Accelerate learning through early postsecondary credits and internships.
• Promote awareness of pathways to increase enrollment and completion.
• Plan and deliver on-campus career awareness events and activities.
• Maintain employer relationships with district partners and school leaders.
• Match students with work-based learning opportunities such as job shadows and internships.
• Prepare students to apply for internships with resume writing and mock interviews.
• Empower educators to integrate employer-led externships into curricula.
• Document activities accurately and keep stakeholders informed.
• Represent ElevateEdAZ at schools and participate in relevant meetings.
