A key component is supporting justice-involved individuals preparing to re-enter the workforce.

The Navigator travels to La Tuna Federal Correctional Institution to deliver workforce

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to build relationships.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Willingness to work in team-oriented environments.
• Basic computer literacy including internet and Office software.
• Ability to adapt to a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver career planning and workforce preparation services.
• Assist participants with career pathway exploration and goal setting.
• Facilitate workforce readiness workshops and employment prep activities.
• Connect participants to education, training, credentials, and post-release opportunities.
• Coordinate with facility staff and partners to support reentry.
• Help participants develop individualized transition plans for long-term employment.
